Leo Nijtmans appointed associate professor in mitochondrial medicine
Per May 1st 2017, dr Leo Nijtmans will be appointed as associate professor in mitochondrial medicine. The title was granted by the board of directors of the Radboudumc, for a position at the department of Pediatrics for a period of five years. Leo's area of expertise is biogenesis of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) system, in particular characterizing the regulation of the assembly of OXPHOS complex I and OXPHOS supercomplexes and the factors involved herein.
